Rustic candle holder

I was wondering what to do with my many empty jam jars (throwing them away in the "recycle bottle bin" is a last option) and I came up with this idea:

You will need:

1 empty jam jar
a few pebbles
some string
1 candle

- clean jam jar
- fill 1/2 full with pebbles
- bury candle in pebbles
- tie string round neck of jam jar
- make a few and you will be ready for a romantic "al fresco" meal, weather permitting!!
